Multifamily Investment Experience

Real Estate Analysis, Valuation, and Acquisition Experience

My real estate background includes multifamily acquisitions, valuation, underwriting, investment analysis, due diligence, market research, and advisory work. That experience involved evaluating opportunities ranging from individual apartment communities to larger portfolio-level assignments, studying market conditions, building financial models, and supporting investment decisions through disciplined financial analysis and market research.

Over time, that work built a strong foundation in how income-producing real estate is evaluated and how pricing, value, and risk are assessed across changing market conditions. My early experience also included valuation and advisory assignments involving institutional-grade real estate, with exposure to discounted cash flow analysis, feasibility studies, lease analysis, market research, and appraiser-level underwriting across office, retail, industrial, and multifamily assets.

While multifamily investment and residential brokerage are distinct segments of real estate, many of the same core principles still apply: understanding value, analyzing the market, pricing intelligently, evaluating risk, and making informed decisions with clarity.

Experience Across Acquisitions, Advisory, and Capital Placement

My background includes experience across multifamily valuation, investment sales support, acquisitions, underwriting, due diligence, capital placement, and investment advisory work.

Earlier in my career, I worked in valuation and advisory assignments involving institutional-grade real estate, with exposure to appraiser-level underwriting, discounted cash flow analysis, lease review, feasibility studies, and market research across multiple asset classes. That foundation was followed by multifamily investment sales and transaction-management work involving pricing models, offering materials, market analysis, and financial underwriting tied to large apartment portfolios and one-off assets.

I later moved into multifamily acquisitions, where my work included sourcing and screening hundreds of opportunities, forecasting cash flow, evaluating returns, issuing letters of intent, preparing investment committee materials, maintaining acquisition pipeline reporting, and studying target markets through detailed economic and demographic analysis. Across those roles, I underwrote multifamily properties, reviewed due diligence materials, supported acquisitions and dispositions across multiple states, and analyzed portfolio-level value.

That experience expanded into senior acquisition and investment analysis work connected to value-add communities in California and other markets. Responsibilities included underwriting, due diligence, financial modeling, market expansion efforts, portfolio analysis, and the development of proprietary underwriting tools and investment presentation materials, along with training junior analysts in financial underwriting and due diligence procedures.

Later, my work also included multifamily investment advisory and syndication-related experience tied to acquisitions in Texas, where responsibilities included acquisition analysis, transaction sourcing and screening, due diligence and closing support, debt and equity capitalization support, and detailed underwriting connected to institutional-grade apartment assets.

Across those roles, my multifamily experience has been tied to approximately $769 million in aggregate transaction capitalization representing 9,185 apartment units.

Education and Analytical Foundation

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida with dual majors in Finance and Real Estate. My coursework included financial management, capital markets, discounted cash flow methodology, real estate valuation, and real estate analysis. My technical background also included tools such as Argus commercial real estate software and advanced Excel-based modeling.

That academic foundation, combined with real-world experience in valuation, underwriting, acquisitions, and market research, shaped the analytical framework I still rely on today.

Why This Background Matters

Multifamily investment and residential sales are not the same business. But both require a disciplined understanding of value, pricing, market behavior, and decision-making.

My multifamily background taught me to think beyond surface-level impressions and focus on the factors that drive value: market conditions, competitive positioning, data, timing, risk, and long-term outcomes. That perspective continues to inform how I approach pricing strategy, market analysis, and real estate advisory work.

For clients, that means working with someone whose background is rooted not only in sales, but also in valuation, investment analysis, and a deeper understanding of how real estate is assessed.

A Practical, Grounded Perspective

Although I have worked on complex transactions and institutional-style analysis, my approach is practical and client-focused. I believe real estate advice should be clear, thoughtful, and grounded in substance. Whether the goal is evaluating a multifamily opportunity, understanding market value, or navigating a major property decision, I bring a perspective shaped by years of analytical real estate work and disciplined investment thinking.
